Summary /Objective
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for profitably selling and creating a demand for the Company’s line of products and services according to assigned territory.
Essential Function

Growth and development of existing customer relations within assigned territory, leading to generation of sales according to pre-established sales goals and A.I. profit objectives.

Development and execution of an annual territory business plan, including generation of sales through conquest customers and uncovering of new opportunities.

Consultative solution-selling that includes a working knowledge of proposal process, cooperative purchase process, and/or bid development process.

Management of leads, opportunities, pipeline, and business development activities utilizing Salesforce on a daily and weekly basis.

Achievement of monthly/yearly sales and A.I. profit budget goals.

Communication of information on competitive strategy that affects sales area.
-
Professional decorum and behavior at all times consistent with Company strategies and policies and fully aligned with the A-Z Bus Sales Mission and Core Values.

Be a contributive Team member within the new sales bus team as well as across all company groups. Participate in monthly meetings and weekly calls, interacting with Service, Warranty, and Parts personnel.

Participate in approved shows and maintain the company guidelines for expenses.

Maintain customer information updated in Salesforce on a daily/weekly basis and submit all required reports on time.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Must have the ability to sit, walk and stand for multiple lengths of time, throughout the day or as needed. Will be required to safely drive a vehicle to visit customers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel
Travel is required within the assigned region. Periodic overnight travel required to attend trade shows and OEM sales meetings.
Required Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
5-10 years professional sales experience.
-
Bus transportation and/or heavy-large equipment sales experience.
-
Valid Driver License Class B
-
Maintenance of an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Education and Experience
-
CRM/Salesforce.com expert.

Computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Word

Commercial Driver License Class C
