Blue Bird’s Electric School Bus Ride and Drive Event kicked off today in Bellflower, California to a packed crowd of transportation directors, bus mechanics, OEM vendors, SCAQMD staff, and representatives from US Senator Kamala Harris’ office, as well as Congresswoman Lucille Roybal – Allard’s (CA-40) and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez’s (CA-38) office. On hand to present and discuss the all-new Blue Bird All American electric school bus were professionals from Blue Bird, Inc., Adomani — the power and drivetrain behind the all-new electric school bus built by Blue Bird — and representatives from A-Z Bus Sales — California and Hawaii’s Blue Bird School Bus Dealer.
Due to the huge interest and events popularity, A-Z Bus Sales added a new location to their two-week tour of the electric Type D school bus. School transportation professionals are able to attend the event this Wednesday, January 10 in San Diego at San Diego Unified School District from 10 AM to 1 PM. A-Z Bus Sales staff along with Blue Bird and Adomani will discuss the operations and features of the all-new electric school bus along with HVIP funding options. Participants are also encouraged to board the electric bus for a ride and drive around the neighborhood to gain first-hand experience of the electric Blue Bird school bus. Light lunch and refreshments will be served. Arrive early to get a seat for the presentation. Today’s event was packed with attendees leaving standing room only.
